what if you dont pay your credit card bill?
I found this post online when doing a search: The person was bragging about not paying their credit cardm and when asked about how they handle debt collection agencies they replied:
"Just ignore them..
Its easy, since i know their number, 08456 029441,
and so i just barred it from my phone.
So they make a few 100calls per month, but none actually get through so my phone doesnt ring and so no disturbance for me.
They used to do it quite alot qith 20+ calls per day, but now they just try 1x per day at about 5pm.
Almost feel sorry for the poor saps in the call centre getting blanked by me for so many months. lol
They cant ''send the baliffs in'' like the general public conception is,
since to be able to send any sort of baliff to take any of your possessions they 1st need to take you to court and get a court to approve that you are rich enough and have the money spare to pay them back.
(Theres alot of rules to protect the consumer, and so the court can only set repayment or confiscation orders if theres proof that the person can actually afford it.
They cant let things like peoples beds or sofas or stuff get taken away)
And the bank has 100,000s of people not paying back loans,
so they are losing lots of money.
And so they dont want to lose even more money by taking people to court that they know would win the case against them,
as taking someone to court is very expensive.
(i did A-level law so i would know exactly how the system works)
So the only people who they actually even attempt to take ot court are people who own property and have a steady pay-check income of a high enough level. 30k+
And i always withdrew it in just small incements of a few hundred quid every few days so it wouldnt cause any suspicion.
If you know how the legal and financial systems work they are extremely easy to take advantage off! "
Is what they say true? Are there any real repurcussions other than maybe a bad credit rating?
I was wondering about this not paying your credit card back. you were saying something about taking money off in small increments. What if I take larger increments off and dont pay it back? Recommendations?
if you don't pay your credit card, that could affect your credit score, hence you ability to borrow money from banks in the future, when you need a new car or to buy a house … or your interest rate will be stupidly high that you won't be able to afford the payments …
I urge you to pay up your credit cards debt to avoid troubles in the future.
