http://www.annualcreditreport.com then it will ask you which ones you want. Check the boxes for all 3 or you can get one from one now and then return to the site in a few months to get another one. You have to go to each site individually to get it from each of the three major bureaus, but you are entitled to a free one from each site once a year through the link below. Go slow in establishing your credit, that way you won't regret it…

CarrieH's answer is the best so far. Keep in mind that you are entitled to a free credit report, but NOT necessarily your credit SCORES for free. The primary thing ALL lenders are concerned with is your credit score. You may have to purchase your score from the credit bureaus.

Take a look at a book called, "Evil Money Evil Credit". Is has additional information which should be able to help ya out. There is a blog called, "How To Get Good Credit Gab" at
    www. HowToGetGoodCredit.blogspot. com

LSX hit the nail on the head in the answer below.

NO SUCH THING AS AS FREE.

    :-)

You can actually get a "free" report from one of the three bureaus, but you will often need your score as a total package to see where u stand. You may need to buy a report to get ur score…so ur gonna end up having to buy a report anyway.

If u JUST want a report…u can get one for free.

Try calling one of the bureau's phone #'s found online and speak with a automated system and provide personal info for one to be mailed.

Let me know how it turns out.

    K?
