Parody: Free Credit Report commercial

Saturday

The Fair Credit Reporting Act gives you rights. These bozos ran another misleading ad.

To receive their “free” credit report, you must sign up to pay $14.95 a month.

Consumers already have a legal right to a free credit report.

The Federal Trade Commission warns about scams like this:
“A recent amendment to the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act requires each of the nationwide consumer reporting companies — Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion — to provide you with a free copy of your credit report, at your request, once every 12 months. But there’s only one online source authorized to do so. That’s annualcreditreport.com. Beware of other sites that may look and sound similar.”

    Dude, too many …
Dude, too many people go there otherwise it wouldn’t be plastered all over everyone’s screen 24/7. Most commercials lie and I hate them. This is a much needed attempt by the FTC to counter but too weak and insufficient. They need to be taken out by the military.

    Anyone that …
Anyone that actually likes those Free Bullshit Report commercials should be bludgeoned to death with their own hardened feces.

Those commercials me off to no end. Not only are the songs intensely irritating, but there’s nothing free about their service whatsoever.

    You spelled “sell …
You spelled “sell fish” wrong. It’s selfish. Free Credit Report are a bunch of crooks, though. I’m sure there is plenty to read on their file at the Better Business Bureau.

    Your able to cancel …
Your able to cancel the triple advantage before they start charging. Either way, everyone is entitled to a free credit report from each of the 3 major reporting agencies once a year.

With freecreditreport, you only get a report from one of them. Only after you pay do you get the other two.
