how do you do a free online credit report without a credit card?

Saturday

for some reason rush card doesn't count as a credit card(thanks a lot russel Simmonss!)but seriously,I tried freecreditreport.com,but they need my credit card.all I want to do is check my score to make sure nothing fishy is going on.I also don't to go to those scam sites(those sites that steal yourI dentity).any help would appreciated.

If you are a US citizen, you are entitled to one free credit report from the 3 largest credit bureaus annually at www.annualcreditreport.com . It's completely free, no strings attached. You can elect to get one report from the "big three" (Experian, TransUnion, Equifax) or get 1 report from each at various times, but no more than 1 report from each bureau in a 12 month period. Otherwise, you will be charged.

You can access all three credit bureau reports for free at http://www.annualcreditreport.com – you may get a pitch for a credit monitoring service, just ignore it.

You cannot get your credit score for free – for that you will need a credit card and have to pay a fee.

    http://www.annualcreditreport.com

This is the only government sponsored site, and the only one that is truly free.
