how can i get a free credit report online without a credit card?
i'm 18 and i need to find out my credit score because i got a bill in the mail saying i owed $156.11 when ive never orderd or heard about this place before…..please help i want to know what my credit score is?
You can go to myfico.com, but there is a fee to get your credit score. I don't know where you can get a free credit score, if you even can. You can check your credit report (different from a credit score, it shows what kind of credit information they have on you) for free at annualcreditreport.com. Since you are entitled to a free report once a year from each of the three credit agencies, you can actually get a free credit report every 4 months if you rotate through them at that site one at a time.
How this will help with a questionable bill you received I am not sure, though it may show an open account somewhere which you can then get closed.

If you don't know what the charges are from this place, contact them and ask for proof of the bill. You can contact each one of the credit reporting agencies and get a credit report for free. You will have to pay for the credit report score.

You can get a credit report from http://www.annualcreditreport.com, but in order to get the actual score, you will have to still use a debt/credit card on their website. Another way to get it, is you can sometimes sign up for a score watch free trial…I've done that many times to get my score and then I cancel it before the trial is up. I guess you could always get a Prepaid Visa debit card and use that on the internet. Good luck.

I've seen commercials for a free annual credit report. I don't think your age or not having a credit card will affect you being able to get a credit report. Check out freecreditreport.com.

If you fell for the scam site freecreditreport you need to cancel the membership.

go to the websites for transunion, experian, & equifax, and go to the dispute area, you are allowed to get a free copy of your credit report if you think you are a victim of identity theft. If this account is on your credit report then I would dispute it & fight to get it taken off.
