The only COMPLETELY free credit reports are from:

http://www.annualcreditreport.com

You’re entitled to one per year per reporting agency. Sites like freecreditreport.com are free for a very short time – about 7 days. You have to sign up for a "free" trial of their credit monitoring service, providing them with a credit card number to charge for your membership if you don’t cancel within the trial period.

If sites that advertise as much as freecreditreport.com does were really free, where would the money come from for the ads???
