Would the credit reporting of a sole proprietorship ever appear on the owner's credit report?

Sunday

You have a sold proprietorship business with a tax id, and business credit. Under any circumstance would the business credit card companies report on your personal credit report?
What if the business filed for bankruptcy, would that show up on the owner's personal credit report?

Your business credit and your personal credit are completely separate unless you have connected the two in some way by backing your business loans with your personal credit history. Sort of like being a co-signer for your business. In this scenario you would be responsible for the businesses debts but still, those may or may not appear on your personal credit report. There is a lot of red tape involved when it comes to a Ch. 11.

Business accounts do not report to the credit bureaus. Business accounts do not have to abide by the FCRA or the FDCPA since they are not consumer debts.
