When experian corrects items on your credit report do the other two reporting agencies do the same?

Tuesday

Do all three credit reporting agencies work together to ensure accuracy of individual credit reports?

No they don't. You need to write a letter to each individual credit agency to get them to remove incorrect information.

NO! You have to write each individual company and ask them to remove the item, and often times it takes a couple of letters if you don't have any hard evidence of a mistake.

It's actually on the books that a CRA is supposed to notify other CRAs when there is a correction of inaccurate information or a dispute resolution.
It rarely happens. You should follow up with each credit bureau individually in order to have those things updated appropriately. If you pulled your report online, there should be some instructions on how to dispute it over the net. If you obtained it from any other source, I'd put the request in writing, just to be safe.
    Good luck!
