Improve Your Credit Reports for Credit Card Power

Monday

Regardless of why you need credit score repair, you need to take aggressive action to clear up your credit report.  Bad credit has mushroomed throughout the US and in other countries.  Disaster has hit many financial sectors, causing you to witness the deterioration of your credit.

To improve credit score in any of the three major credit reporting agencies, you need to explore and apply many different methods and secret techniques.  It’s going to take time and hard work, but if you don’t start now, your credit score will be the same next year.  Let’s look at the first step you need to start with.

1. First, start off by getting a copy of your credit report from three major credit agencies.  You’re eligible to get one free every year.  Look up the address of the big three agencies on the Internet and order your reports right now.

2. See what your credit score is when you get these reports.  This is the score that you will be working to improve or increase.  The next thing to do is look at each report for simple errors; then, make a list of them.

3. Errors in the spelling of your name or address are simple errors that you want the credit agencies to change.  Write a letter to the agencies, containing up to three errors, and ask them to change this information because it is in error.

4. If you find in your report accounts that are over seven year old, ask them to remove the bad accounts and don’t ask to remove the good accounts.  Credit consumer law requires agencies to remove accounts over seven years old.

5. There may be credit card or bank loan accounts that show late payments. Contact the lender and ask them to remove these items for you.  If the lender will not do this, then you can write a letter to each bureau asking them to remove this account because it is in error.  The credit card or bank has 30 days to respond, and if they don’t, the bureau will remove this account.

6. Each month try to get a bad item off your report.  If it does not come off, try again in a few months. Handwrite your letters and send separate letters for each item you wish to dispute. Include any documentation you have.

7. If you need professional help, a credit repair lawyer can advise you on legal credit repair services and methods if you run into problems.

8. If you have credit cards or loans that you are having problems paying, call the lenders and try to work out a lower payment or deferred payment for a month or two.

9. Now that you are working on your credit, make your payments on time and don’t over charge on your credit cards.  Good credit is dependent on doing this.

Your credit worthiness is based on your credit score.  This score depends on you paying back what you borrowed and on time.  If you can not pay your loan on time, call the lender or Credit Card Company and see if they will extend your payback time without reporting lateness to the credit agencies.

Here’s a start on rebuilding your credit.  Get prepaid credit cards or a card that requires a savings account.  With this card buy those things you normally buy, and then pay the card with a week or two.  If you do this, then in the future, you will not need to work so hard to do any type of credit score repair.

I would say that there is too much information about the specification! However, a good laptop would be good and not so expensive!
