Will a declined sales transaction with my credit card lower my credit rating?

Hi everyone-

I went shopping online and mistakenly used the wrong credit card, which got declined (of course). No money got paid to the seller, will my credit rating go down because of this one transaction?

    no, limits are there for a reason. it would only go down if you neglect to pay said credit card, but getting declined doesnt do any harm.
