is there any negative effect on my credit scores if i take a auto insurance quote?

Wednesday

i mean.
as i know, they need to put in my credit rating and as such, will it hurt my credit rating, i have great score.

i know credit score takes a hit if you ask for a online loan quote.

no, it does not afect it, since it is considered as a soft hit meaning they are just inquiring for your status.

it usually gets affected by 5-10 points if it is mortgage company, because it means that you are trying to get new credit, and too many loan credit inquiries is considered that you are out of money.

No. Since you are not asking for credit, it does not ding you as if you are applying for a loan. The credit report is for informational purposes, as most companies use it as a rating factor.

Checking out new auto insurance is an easy way to save a lot of money. Get a fast quote at a website they always give competing prices.

Don’t give your social. It is not mandatory to give at all even if you were to purchase.

no it does not matter, since you are not applying for credit.
you are only asking for information
