how can i check my credit rating etc if i dont have a credit or switch card?

i only have visa electron and would like to have a look at my credit report. when i go online to do this it asks for credit/ switch details. anyone know?

Hi,
There are three main credit agencies in the UK, Equifax, Experian and CallCredit. Each of these MUST allow you to purchase a copy of your credit file for a nominal fee – typically £2.
For equifax go to http://www.equifax.co.uk/Products/credit/statutory-report.html
For Experian go to http://www.experian.co.uk/www/pages/home/contact_us_main.html
I am not sure about CallCredit. They are the smallest of the three agencies, and we do not tend to deal with them, sorry.

Go to http://www.annualcreditreport.com
This is the government mandated site where you can get FREE credit report from each of the 3 credit bureaus totally free. Will not even ask for your credit card
