Hi, i really want to get a credit card, but my credit rating is really bad, any ideas? thanks?

I really need a credit card, not to go mad with, just to pay for the odd thing online etc, but I’m worried they will do credit checks, and i don’t want “footprints” all over my rating again, any ideas? thanks.
Why would they give you a credit card if your score is so bad? Sure it is to pay for the odd thing online but then it turns into more and more until……you are in big debt and validate that bad score.
When you took debt out, you knew the consequences. Not being able to get a card and having bad scores is the result.
Have someone else buy the odd thing and pay them in cash right there.

Try Aspire. They aren’t the best card but I know they give people with bad credit cards. That’s how I started to repair my credit.

If you have bad credit, you need to apply for cards designed for people with bad credit. see the site below. I saw some very good cards there. I like the Orchard one at the bottom of the site. Millenium ones are goos as well. Try your luck!

Orchard cards usually have options for people with less than perfect scores. However, in your condition, you ma want to just use your debit card to get the things that you need as well as not dig yourself in a hole!

It is highly unlikely that any bank will give you unsecured credit. You can try, but most likely banks will not even bother with reply letters, explaining why you’ve been denied. A secured (prepaid) credit card looks like realistic option for you.
And after some months of careful and prudent usage of this card you (theoretically) suppose to start getting offers from banks for regular credit cards.
