This film covers a bit from the Caldari-Gallente war. It’s set 200 years ago, before any of the 4 races had pod technology. I tried to use ships that may have been around back then, though sadly there’s not a huge amount of information that I could find.

When I get EVE …
When I get EVE Online back the first thing I am going to do is make another character, make him/her a pirate, and then utterly annihilate every Gallente ship I find.
When I reach Gallente Prime I will form a massive fleet and blast the planet into dust, then I will forged the dust into glass, THEN I WILL SMASH THEM ALL OVER AGAIN!!!

I used After Effects CS3 for all the composite shots and filters on the Eve shots. Premiere helped in arranging and syncing the audio, but the bulk of the work was in AE.

Don’t be put off. Hopefully you get atleast 28kbp/s connection, even in Iraq. I’ve played EVE over 28k connection, and while there is a delay, it’s much smoother than you;d expect. No visible lag, just delays on actions.

I really want to get EvE now. I know my computer can handle it (Plays Sins of a Solar Empire on Everything Ultra High, and huge battles hardly lag at all), but the connection here in Iraq is horrible. And I still have 10 months left in my deployment tour.
I will however comment Dire on his great work. This video is simply amazing. Which program from CS3 did you use for the after-effects? (I have all of them other than Premier). The Caldari ship is simply beutiful. All of it is, really.
