Is a credit check part of a back round check?

I see jobs that require a back round check. I am wondering is credit part of this?
I have no criminal record whatever but very bad credit. Will I still pass?
Yes… you’ll still pass… credit it not part of a background check. They have to specifically ask your permission to preform a credit check.
