How can I run a credit check on a roommate?

I need to run a credit check on potential roommate.

Have them run their own credit report at www.myfico.com and ask for a copy of it. This also gives you the credit score and it pulls from all three credit bureaus. It costs $12.95. Or, they can write away for copies from all three bureaus but that will take a couple of weeks.

    You'll need to go to one of these sites:

    http://www.equifax.com or
    http://www.transunion.com

    Either offers consumer reports, but not anyone can pull one on another individual. Call them for details.
