How can i get a credit check done if i dont have any credit cards etc?

Wednesday

hi im looking to get a credit/finance check, but all the websites ask me to enter a creit card details, i dont have any credit card details, is there anyway round this?

The only site where you can get your free credit report (all Americans are entitled to one free credit report within a 12-month period from each of the three agencies) is http://www.annualcreditreport.com/ but no credit scores. Credit scores are available as an add-on feature of the report, for a nominal fee. This central site allows you to request a free credit file disclosure, commonly called a credit report, from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. In the so called 'free credit score' sites, you will have to sign up for their 'other services' to check your score for 'free'.

Go to equifax or experian and ask them to do a credit check, you don't have a credit card but do you have a bank debit card to pay for it? Maestro or solo e.t.c

You can write to the three credit reporting bureaus (Experian, EquiFax and TransUnion) and ask for a credit report or you should be able to request them directly online. You are entitled to one free report per year. If you still can't get around it without a credit card, just call them.

The services that consolidate the three reports like so called "FreeCreditReport.com" will give you a free report, but they need a credit card because they don't tell you signing up for that free report leads to a credit monitoring service that they charge your card 12 dollars a month for.

You can cancel it, but they don't make it easy.
