I want to check my credit online, will my credit score now be lower after my inquiry?

Friday

I want to go to AnnualCreditReport.com to look up my credit and score, but I’m afraid that my FICO score will be lower since I made an inquiry, or does this only apply to lenders that make inquiries?

Personal inquiries of your credit report have absolutely NO IMPACT on your FICO score when done through the annualcreditreport.com website.

It doesn’t go down if you’re pulling it YOURSELF. This is considered a "soft inquiry".

No, your score will not be affected if you run your own credit. This site has many reports that will most likely answer most of your questions — http://www.paynotaxesforlife.com

It will not lower your score. And it only applies to lenders, and it takes more than 1 to lower your score.
