Does my checking account/savings balance effect my credit score or fico score?

Sunday

I have an unusually low checking balance/savings balance right now and I would like to know if applying for a credit report/fico report at a later time (when i have more money) would improve my score.

Credit is based on credit cards and loans-checking and savings accounts have nothing to do with it.

    yes, definately
    There's a direct correlation
If you have oney, you wont use credit as a means to an end
I am obsessed with my score
    I check it daily

No, your checking/savings account has nothing to do with your credit report. However if you ever bounce a check or any type of negative checking activity, that could be reported to Check Systems. Also if it's worth anything to you, most banks and credit unions now will check your credit JUST for a savings account!
    Hope this helps :)

You can order a free Check System report here under the new law.
